From a young age, Jill was captivated by the world of fashion—spending all her pocket money on clothes and accessories, and even making hair extensions in her spare time during high school. This early passion laid the foundation for what would eventually become SILK&.

Jill's career in the fashion industry is extensive. As the owner of her own clothing stores and a buyer for prestigious names like Magasin Du Nord and Miinto.com, she developed a keen eye for quality and style. Yet, the desire to create something of her own always lingered in the back of her mind. This drive, combined with her deep love for fashion and hair styling, ultimately led to the birth of SILK&.

In recent years, Jill began to embrace second-hand fashion, driven by her awareness of the industry's environmental impact and her desire to invest in quality pieces that stand the test of time. This philosophy of "slow fashion"—choosing materials that last and designs that are both fashionable and timeless—became a core value of SILK&. While SILK& is not a second-hand brand, it embodies this mindset by offering luxurious accessories that are made to be cherished for years.

Jill's connection to Italy runs deep, with childhood summers spent with her parents in Italy year after year. It was only fitting that she found the perfect silk factory just 100 km away from her childhood memories. At Lake Como, a place known for its rich history of textile production. This factory, which also produces for some of the world's largest luxury brands, became the ideal partner for SILK&, ensuring that every piece is crafted from the highest quality silk twill.

After months of meticulous design and a beautifully executed photoshoot with talented stylist and model @marieheyman, SILK& officially launched on July 1, 2024. This collection is more than just accessories; it's a new way of thinking about fashion.
